The VIP Custos Premium Double Layer Mouth Guard Gum Shield is a mixed bag when it comes to customer experience. On one hand, several customers have praised the gum shield for its durability and sturdiness. It seems to hold up well during contact sports such as boxing, MMA, rugby, Muay Thai, hockey, Judo, and Karate. Users appreciate the protection it provides. However, there are a number of negative reviews that bring up some significant drawbacks. One of the main issues is that the gum shield does not mold well to the teeth. Despite following the instructions precisely, some customers have reported that the mold did not change as expected. This results in an ill-fitting gum shield that can be uncomfortable to wear. Another major complaint is that the material of the gum shield has a rough and grainy texture, which some customers liken to sandpaper. This can cause discomfort and irritation during use. Notwithstanding these drawbacks, it is noted that the gum shield does serve its purpose of protecting the wearer during contact sports. In conclusion, while the VIP Custos Premium Double Layer Mouth Guard Gum Shield offers good durability and protection, it falls short in terms of comfort and fit. Potential customers should Consider these drawbacks before making a purchase.
