Comedy Editorial Review
The Best of Bud Abbott and Lou Costello: Volume 3 features eight movies from the duo's career, including Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein, which is arguably their best comedy/horror film. This edition includes films such as Mexican Hayride, Abbott and Costello Meet The Killer Boris Karloff, Abbott and Costello Meet The Invisible Man, Comin' Round the Mountain, Abbott and Costello Lost In Alaska, and Abbott and Costello Go To Mars. The films are not among their best, but still offer the classic Abbott and Costello humor and entertainment. The DVD set does not have many special features aside from production notes and trailers. Overall, this set is an excellent addition to any fan of the legendary comedy duo's work and their contribution to the world of comedy.
