Root: A Game of Woodland Might and Right is a fantastic game to play with a group of friends. The game has the option for 2-6 players, but it's recommended to play with 4 players (60-90 minutes). Depending on the number of players, it could take a couple of hours to play the game. The first edition, first print had board errata, but it came with five card holders. However, further prints reduced the number of card holders, so it's a toss-up on what printing you receive when buying it. The latest edition of Law of Root recommends using faction Reach to determine if factions make a good combination to play. The game has been popular, and there have been supply shortage issues; however, there is a new print run of the game alongside their latest kickstarter expansion. There are two high-reach factions in the expansion to fill out the gap in two-player games.
