The product does not come with a case for storing the rings and pens when not in use. While some reviewers found the product to be cheaply made and not like the original Spirograph they remember from their childhood, others found it to be just like the old originals. Some reviewers had difficulty holding the rings in place, as the product uses adhesive putty instead of plastic pins, which some found to be unreliable.
