Информация о продукте
- Meditations on silence, creativity, and the echoes of the past. The Silence explores the mystery of artistic creation, drawing inspiration from Sibelius's struggle with his uncompleted eighth symphony. John Greening contemplates the profound silences that shape our lives, from the silence of death to the pregnant pause before inspiration strikes. This collection journeys through diverse landscapes--Finland, the Peak District, ancient Egypt, and the hidden histories beneath Heathrow Airport--to unearth the connections between art, nature, memory, and the search for meaning. For readers who appreciate thoughtful, evocative poetry that grapples with life's big questions.Meditations on art, nature, and historyExploration of silence and creativityEvocative language and imagery
