MGM Shop all Blu-Rays Editorial Review
** MGM - Some Like It Hot [BLU-RAY]** MGM's "Some Like It Hot" remains an iconic staple of classic comedy, and customer reception of this Blu-ray edition largely reflects the film's enduring charm and humor. Reviewers celebrate the movie's clever storytelling and legendary performances, particularly from the dynamic duo of Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon, alongside the legendary Marilyn Monroe. Many fans describe it as "hilarious" and "great," emphasizing that the film's timeless jokes and situations still resonate with audiences today. Despite its black-and-white format, which some viewers initially mischaracterized from the cover art, the film captivates with its witty banter and comic misadventures. Enthusiasm is palpable among fans who appreciate the value of owning this classic in physical form, with several noting the fantastic price as a key factor in their purchase decision. However, not all feedback is positive; a few users report significant technical issues, including poor sound quality and problems with the disc not loading onto players. These critiques present a stark contrast to the overall positive sentiment surrounding the film itself. Overall, "Some Like It Hot" shines through as a beloved comedy classic, with its humor still hitting home for many viewers. While the viewing experience may be hindered for some due to technical woes, the film's legacy and brilliant cast continue to earn it acclaim. **Pros and Cons:** **
