Dean Martin (Contributor) Format: Audio CD Editorial Review
Some Enchanted Evening is a captivating collection for Dean Martin enthusiasts, featuring over an hour of early ballads primarily from the late 1940s and early 1950s. The album includes unique performances such as 'Ghost Riders in the Sky' and 'September Song,' which highlight Dean's powerful baritone voice. While the sound quality varies slightly due to the nature of radio transcriptions, many listeners appreciate the clarity and warmth that shines through. For those less acquainted with Martin's early work, this album presents an opportunity to experience his charm and artistry in a more intimate setting, showcasing the music that laid the foundation for his later success.
