Classics Editorial Review
The Roald Dahl Centenary Boxed Set is a collection of books, published on September 1, 2016, that includes ancient and well-known Dahl classics like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, James and the Giant Peach, The Twits, and more. However, some customers were disappointed that these books were edited and modified by the publisher to remove words and themes that they Considered offensive. Regardless of this backlash, the set is still being marketed with "a stunning gift box and foiled dust jackets," however, the "great collector's item" is compromised by cheap paper quality that isn't durable or archival. Nonetheless, some customers received their sets in impeccable condition and were pleased with the purchase because the whole set was cheaper than purchasing each book separately and included previously loved childhood favorites.
