Sol Royal Roller-Blind Screen Motor DIY Tubular Electric Roller-Shutter

The Sol Royal Roller-Blind/Screen Motor SolTec M24 has received a mix of positive and negative feedback from customers, largely centering on its performance, installation process, and the accompanying instructions. Many users praise the motor for its excellent value and quiet operation. They report that it is reliable and provides a significant improvement over more expensive replacements, particularly for motors used in motorhomes or garage doors. While the installation process is generally described as straightforward for individuals with basic DIY skills, there were frustrations regarding the lack of English instructions. Customers were able to receive a translated manual upon request, although some found the original German instruction manual confusing and insufficient for setting limit switches. A few issues were encountered with the motors, such as noise in one direction or functionality limitations, particularly when one customer reported that their motor worked only in one direction. Despite these setbacks, many users have expressed satisfaction with their purchases, often emphasizing the cost-effectiveness compared to more expensive alternatives. The responsiveness of the customer service team also received commendations. Overall, for those with a bit of technical knowledge and who are prepared to adapt to some challenges, the Sol Royal motor appears to be a solid choice for DIY projects. **
